General Description:

The LightWELD Carbon Fiber welding helmet is
a lightweight welding helmet designed to provide unsurpassed operator

features a lightweight carbon fiber shell incorporating both UV and IR filters
appropriate for use with LightWELD systems. A scratch resistant coating
provide additional protection to the welding filter lens.

EN207 compliant

No ordinary carbon fiber helmet, the unique properties of the LightWELD carbon fiber helmet and lens system produces a weld helmet that is compliant with EN207 directive. The superior materials used throughout are able to protect the user from direct exposure of full laser power for a minimum of 10 seconds without failure.

ANSI Z87+ Rated

Based on American National Standard Institute (ANSI) standards, the LightWeld Carbon Fiber welding helmet is rated to ANSI Z87+W offering enhanced protection against impacts while being rated for welding applications. The welding helmet passes High Mass Impact, High Velocity Impact and Penetration tests including impact tests above 100mph providing superior protection and may eliminate the need to wear supplementary impact glasses under the weld helmet.

• Superior Protection - EN207 and ANSI Z87+W16 rated
• Carbon fiber shell – Ultra lightweight construction
• Integrated IR and UV window

• Enhances worker safety – impact and laser protection in one weld helmet
• Lightweight construction reduces neck fatigue and boosts productivity
• Protects user from laser and emitted radiation

Users should perform a safety assessment based on specific situations to ensure that all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is in place. Laser safety glasses provided with the LightWELD system are recommended to be used - in addition to the welding helmet. Laser safety glasses must be worn by any observers in the laser control
area (LCA).
